Time: 6p to 10p Note: Setup and tear down times will be announced closer to the event date. Due to road closure restrictions, these times are limited, so you should plan for quick setup and tear down of your vendor space. Vendors are required to serve customers the entire duration of the Night Market.
Location: Murray Avenue in Squirrel Hill from Forbes Avenue to Beacon Street.

$5.00 PayPal fee will be applied for online payments. A link will be provided to complete payment once vendor application is approved. Payment is due 45 days prior to the Night Market otherwise your space will be forfeited.

Can I apply via e-mail? Phone? No. We require all vendor applications be completed via the links above. Due to limited staffing we ask that you not call or email regarding participation in the Night Market as most information needed can be found via this site.
How much space will I have as a vendor and what do I need to bring? Vendors are provided a 10'x10' space. Vendors are REQUIRED to provide their own tent along with tent weights(weights are required per City of Pittsburgh regulations). Vendors should also bring any displays, chairs or tables necessary for their booth. We ask that vendors be mindful of their allotted space and do not encroach on neighboring vendors’ displays/spaces.
Is electricity provided? NEW FOR 2020!When you apply to be a vendor you'll have the option to choose a vendor space with electricity or without. There is a $20.00 fee for electricity. If you choose a space with electricity you will need to bring a power strip and extension cords. You'll also need zip ties and duct tape to secure any loose wires to avoid trip hazards to Night Market guests. Please note that generators are prohibited at all Night Markets.
Do I have to stay for the entire Night Market? Yes. We require that all vendors commit to the entire duration of the Night Market. You may not begin taking down your booth until the Market ends.
Is the event rain or shine? Do you offer refunds if it rains? The event is rain or shine. Refunds will not be given due to weather or if a vendor chooses to cancel due to rain. Please note that if a vendor no shows, Uncover Squirrel Hill reserves the right to deny participation in future events.
How long will I have to set up/tear down? Simply put, you've got to move quick. Due to road closure restrictions and the need to wait for the streets to clear of traffic before setup, typically vendors have 1.5 hours to set up and 1 hour to tear down. Exact times will be shared with vendors closer to the event date.
Do you give preference to certain vendors? We're always on the hunt for new and unique vendors. We try to avoid duplication with any Squirrel Hill businesses that remain open during the Night Markets. Preference will be given to Pittsburgh and PA based vendors but we welcome all interested to apply.
Do I have to have insurance? Vendors are required to purchase liability insurance and to submit proof of insurance upon notification of acceptance.
We're a nonprofit. Do you offer a reduced rate? Due to the cost incurred to host our Night Markets (road closures, permit fees, police/medics, and insurance), we are unable to provide a reduced rate for nonprofits.
